North Island

...true barefoot paradise... Each of the 11 exquisitely designed villas have been lovingly hand crafted on the island from wood, local stone and glass with thatched "ylang ylang" roofs.

With a footprint of over 450m², each villa is completely self-contained and boasts a luxuriously proportioned bedroom, writing and change room area with a huge en-suite bathroom with a Balinese marble bath and an outside shower. Air-conditioning, overhead "punkah punkah" fans and fully retracting sliding windows provide a cosseting environment for the enjoyment of balmy ocean breezes. An additional study or bedroom can be used to accommodate children. The kitchen leads off the expansive sun deck and covered lounge area. A private plunge pool and sala completes your sanctuary on North Island.

Guests on North Island can elect to enjoy their meals in their villa or in the main dining room. A full butler service catering for your every need includes in villa dining or delicious picnics on secluded beaches.

The extensive facilities include a central dining room with a connoisseur's cellar, a lounge and library, a gym and world class dive centre. You can fish at leisure, cruise into the sunset or enrich your mind at an educational event. Mountain bikes, island buggies and hiking trails get you around the island at your own pace.

At the North Island Spa you will find the treatments a completely caring experience and the ultimate in luxury. They have adopted a holistic approach; the treatments are as much for your inner self and your mind as they are for your face or body. The treatments cover facial and body care, body envelopments and finishing touches.

In addition to these treatments, each spa therapist is trained to provide a consultation aimed at designing a personalised spa experience for your stay on North Island.
