Day 1; Mahé - St Anne Island
Your cruise begins in Victoria, the capital city of Mahé. Once on board the Crystal Esprit, you will journey to St Anne Island, a gorgeous private islet with mountainous landscapes and four stunning white sand beaches. You’ll stay overnight here.
Day 2; St Anne Island - Cousin Island - Praslin
The beginning of day two will start in St Anne Island, before venturing to Cousin Island for an afternoon of exploring. Cousin Island is a designated nature preserve, home to an abundance of endemic land birds including the Seychelles Warbler, and magnificent hawksbill turtles. Afterwards you’ll journey to Praslin to anchor for the night.
Day 3; Praslin
The whole day is free for you to explore Praslin, an island full of luscious tropical forest and home to the rare, erotically shaped Coco de Mer nut. Vallee de Mai, a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to the largest forest of unique Coco de Mer palms, whilst there are also plenty of gorgeous beaches to explore.
Day 4; Praslin - La Digue - Laraie Bay, Curieuse Island
In the morning you’ll leave Praslin and take a short cruise to La Digue, a small island with lots of charm. This island is very chilled and relaxed, with only 25 motorised vehicles altogether – many locals and tourists cycle their way around the tropical forests and charming Creole village instead. Anse Source d’Argent is the most regularly photographed beach in the world and is utterly beautiful, so it’s certainly worth a visit to take your own picture. In the afternoon you will continue to Laraie Bay on Curieuse Island to anchor for the night.
Day 5; Laraie Bay, Curieuse Island
The day is at your leisure to discover all Curieuse Island has to offer. This small granite island is striking and unspoilt, with no hotels or restaurants – instead, it’s a naturally beautiful area with red coloured soil, over 500 wild tortoises, and eight unique species of mangrove tree. In the Laraie Bay harbour, there are a myriad of local giant hump-head parrotfish that can come up to 12 metres long.
Day 6; Laraie Bay - Aride - Big Sister Island
Leaving Laraie Bay in the morning, most of your day will be spent exploring Aride, an undeveloped island home to more species of bird than any other island in the Seychelles. Wander through the jungle and look for the 18 species of native birds that breed here, including five only found in the Seychelles. Afterwards you’ll journey to Big Sister Island, a privately owned island with wonderful, crystal clear waters perfect for snorkelling – teeming with big fish and sometimes even a few turtles.
Day 7; Big Sister Island - Mahé
Today you will leave Big Sister Island and sail back to Mahé, spending time relaxing on the beach and exploring vibrant fish, fruit and vegetable markets.
Day 8; Mahé
Today you will disembark the Crystal Esprit.
