The stunning Constance Ephélia Resort opened in February 2010 and offers a fabulous five star experience at a four star price! It is located beside two fine beaches on the north west coast of Mahé Island and overlooks the national marine park of Port Launay. It is a 40 minute transfer from the international airport.
The Constance Ephélia Resort is set within 120 hectares of land with luxuriant and rare vegetation. Accommodation ranges from well-appointed Junior and Senior Suites to a fabulous range of luxurious villas with private pools. These include Family and Beach Villas, allowing you to enjoy a Seychelles holiday with anyone you want. Many villas enjoy sea views and private plunge pools. There are also spacious Spa Villas, plus a small number of fine Hillside Villas with glorious views overlooking the North beach and Port Launay Marine Park. There is also one fabulous 3-bedroom Presidential Villa!
Nature trails abound in this area, including one that evokes the legend of the lovely Ephélia, for whom many of the amazing rock formations were allegedly designed and, of course, is the namesake of the resort.
Restaurants at the Constance Ephélia Resort range from the buffet-style Corossol serving international cuisine, Helios with Mediterranean dishes, or the Adam & Eve Grill and Seselwa for relaxed and casual meals. For a stylish alternative, Cyann offers haute cuisine. The resort features five bars ranging from casual pool or seaside locations to the elegance of the Cyann bar, offering aged rums, single malt whiskies and a sophisticated range of cocktails.
A choice of non-motorised water sports is offered as well as a Kids Club. In April 2011, the resort also opened a unique climbing wall, offering both artificial and natural routes. Instructors are on hand and safety harnesses are provided. The wall can be enjoyed by anyone from 6 years to 60 years! A new zip wire will be available in early 2012. Constance Ephelia also offers tuition for most activities at the resort, including for squash (for beginners), tennis, catamaran sailing, windsurfing and diving; these are payable locally.
The Spa de Constance at Ephélia Seychelles (the largest in the Indian Ocean) features a Shiseido Pavilion with 3 treatment rooms, complemented by an additional 11 single treatment rooms and one double treatment room. A yoga pavilion, sauna, thermal pool, jet pool and salon complete the spa experience.
