Lemuria is located 5 minutes away from Praslin airstrip in an idyllic location on the northwest cost of the island. With its 18 hole championship golf course, the resort is surrounded by luxuriant and rare vegetation, washed by the warm waters of the calm lagoon, sheltered from the prevailing winds.

The main building lies on the slopes of a hill, amidst dense vegetation overlooking the beaches of Kerlan. A unique and striking use of natural materials, of wood and stone, responds sympathetically with light an water. The swimming pool has three levels, which flow down from the hotel to the sea.

Lemuria has 105 rooms comprising 96 suites, 8 Villas and 1 Presidential Suite spreading over 101 hectacres of land. The suites lie scattered along two pristine beaches, one southwest and one northwest. Each suite is ideally located just 15 metres from the shore, discreetly nestled in the magnificent nature. All suites have shower, WC, mini-bar, safe, television, DVD stereo compact disc and cassette player and a telephone and answering machine. The villas comprise two bedrooms with lounge, dining kiosk, pool deck, open-air bath, swimming pool and terrace and facilities include air-conditioning, television, personal safe, DVD, compact disc, Sony Play Station, mini-bar and hairdryer.

The ultimate lavish experience has to be the Presidential Villa with 3 bedrooms overlooking your own private beach. The outdoor Jacuzzi combines well with the swimming pools on three levels offering total privacy and seclusion. Located in the main building, the Legend Restaurant offers a refined and relaxed atmosphere overlooking the splendour of the Indian Ocean for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Sea Horse is an excellent Mediterranean restaurant, adjacent to the golf course overlooking the 11th hole and offers al-fresco dining.

Open for lunch only to ensure that the turtles are not disturbed after dark to lay their eggs, the Beach Restaurant is set on top of the Peninsula overlooking two beaches and offers a wide range of seafood specialties.

Lemuria's health and beauty Spa offers the ultimate in relaxation and is an ideal venue to unwind after a stimulating round of golf or a day exploring the nearby islands. Comprising of a fully equipped gym, beauty treatment rooms, hairdresser, plunge pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Lemuria "Turtle Club" welcomes children between the ages of 4 and 12 and is open from 09.00 - 21.00hrs. The itinerary is extensive combing daily indoor and outdoor activities which are supervised.
