At the north-eastern corner of Praslin, recently renovated "L'Archipel" sits amidst tropical vegetation which forms a natural amphitheatre overlooking the clear, blue seas. The hillside slopes down to the idyllic, white sand beach which is the focal point of this large, private estate. The hotel is ideal for those seeking a quiet stay in a secluded and exclusive resort.

The beachside restaurant serves an 'a la Carte' lunch and dinner, specialising in Creole dishes, and the main restaurant specialises in Gourmet 'cuisine'. The pool is also close to the beach and beach bar and the hotel also has a massage and fitness room, billiard room and small boutique.

Activities at 'L'Archipel' centre around the beach and the sea with free use of snorkelling equipment, windsurfers and canoes. Guests wishing to snorkel can take a free boat trip to the nearby island of St. Pierre where the clear waters and colourful marine life provide the perfect location. Diving and fishing trips can also be arranged from the hotel at a charge. The hotel is within walking distance of the island's Casino.

The 30 rooms and suites are scattered across the hillside overlooking the delightful cove of Anse Gouvernement. All the rooms are spacious and have private facilities with shower some with a bath, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, TV and video, hairdrier, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and a large verandah facing the ocean. Room service will provide breakfast and other meals on your verandah. Suites are even larger and have a separate lounge.

The Hotel is unable to accommodate children under 3 years of age and its hillside location make it unsuitable for the infirm or disabled. Shorts are not permitted in the bar and restaurant after 19.00.

The flight time from Mahé to Praslin is approximately 15 minutes with frequent daily flights between 07.00 and 19.00. Transfer time from the airstrip at Praslin is about 25 to 30 minutes.
