Hotel Coco de mer and Black Parrot Suites are located on Praslin, the 2nd largest island in the Seychelles and named after the unique Coco de Mer Palm, which although extremely rare, occurs in abundance in the tropical forest surrounding the hotel. Set on the edge of the ocean, it offers spectacular views of the neighboring islands, forested mountainside and glorious sunsets.

Whilst the Hotel Coco de Mer lies hidden amongst the palm trees, the Black Parrot Suites are perched separate from the main hotel on a little hillside which lies on the edge of the ocean. In effect they form an independent all-suite hideaway.

Hotel Coco de Mer has 40 rooms all spacious, comfortable and sea facing. The rooms are large with seating area and have a terrace or balcony. Interconnecting rooms are available for families.

The 12 Suites at Black Parrot are large with balcony and magnificent views of the ocean. All have four poster beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar (on request), telephone, hair-dryer, radio, satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities. You will find the bathrooms to be spacious with double basins and corner bath.

The two restaurants offer English breakfast, international and Creole cuisines, barbecues, buffet and table d'hote menu. Poolside bar and grill is available with live entertainment being provided several times a week.

Hotel Coco de Mer and the Black Parrot Suites lies on several small beaches which form part of Anse Bois de Rose, a large tranquil bay. Prevailing winds and tides can cause a build up of seaweed typically May through October however one beach is cleaned throughout this period.

The two pools, one uniquely shaped as a Coco de Mer, overlooks the endless splendour of the Indian ocean.

Complimentary transfers to Anse Lazio are offered several times a week whilst an array of activities (including tennis courts, squash court, mini-golf course, snorkeling) will keep you entertained throughout the day.
